BBC News US Election 24

LEAD DESIGNER / ART DIRECTION / VISUAL STORYTELLING / BRANDING

BBC News US Election 24 . Visual poster to promote coverage

BBC News coverage of the US Election 24: Lead the branding across digital, social and broadcast. The core design system was based on the UK Election design brand. We wanted to still allow the design to reflect the origami theme, but to give the brand its own identity with colours and some key brand elements. Introducing the idea of stars and stripes.

I collaborated extensively with motion designers on how we could effectively animate for broadcast across the various studio screens. By working closely with the engineers and UI designers, we aimed to ensure that we all maintained a cohesive and consistent brand aesthetic throughout the entire project.

Anyone lucky enough to work with Jenny will know: you walk in with a problem, you leave with a plan (and probably a witty one-liner too).
